wat a wkend..

at the request of my aunt, my cousin came over for the wkend so i could supervise his studying and help him w his hw/assignment. His CA1 is approaching (26 feb) and my aunt n uncle are too busy w their work to keep an eye on him. this task is given to the unemployed. haha

it would be definitely better for webster to spend time w me for the wkend, rather than alone at home. at least someone will look after his needs e.g food, emotional needs, and last of all the computer. XD it sux to be alone esp at a young age. i've gone thru tt. he is goin thru tt now. gd luck.

he came over on fri evening.. watched him did his set of english paper from some sch.. nyps past yr papers i guess.. he made a lot of careless mistakes.. get easy grammar qn wrong.. his vocab isnt enuf for tt of a pri 5.. i jus haf this impression tt he knows too little.. XD if i din rmb it wrongly.. it took me 2 hours plus to go thru the paper w him.. my playtime?! sigh..
after tt, let him played abit of maplestory.. actually his aim to come my house is jus to play maplestory.. sigh.. everyday thinking of maplestory n the accs i haf..

he was asked to slp.. while i talked on msn.. he keep staring at me n din wanna shut his eyes.. typical boy.. wont slp until he did wat he intended to do - play the com b4 slping. nice cousin?! i let him played for 45min.. it's like 2am when he reluctantly went to bed again. this time, he shut his eyes.. (mission accomplished)

the next day, he was on the com when i woke up.. i slpt late.. definitely woke up later than him. my precious slping time! no choice.. had to supervise him. asking him to start work, maths paper from another sch.. i played on the com.. marking his maths is more frustrating than english. i can understand language is hard for him but it cant be for maths.. his careless mistakes are simply wonderful. given (a+b)/c = d, and a,c,d are known.. he said he duno how to find b.. XD.. saw his working.. (a+b)/c -c = d-c.. a +b = d-c.. i guess he wasnt concentrating on doin his work.. if he really duno this.. i am worried for him..

following which.. science paper.. it was ok.. there were alot of qns in the paper tt he never learnt b4.. so i cant blame him too.. his answering technique skills require improvement.. a few more sessions w me.. i think it might help alittle.. at nite.. he did his sch assignments.. poor kid.. so much work to do.. haha.. my aunt reminded me nt to let him play the com too much, in fear of his eyesight.. i had to listen to her right? so i forbade him to use the com at nite.. he showed me he had a big attitude.. when he cant play com.. he turned to huan zhu gege.. oh ya.. btw.. his hw.. english essay.. i was really amazed at the way he chose qns..

he had an assignment to write an essay on drugs abuse and teenagers.. he was given 3 options..
qn1. if u were a superhero, how wud u wipe out drug abuse in singapore. he din wanna do tt cos he said it was tough.
qn2. write a story based on the 5 pictures below
qn3. write a story on drug abuse using at least 5 of the words in the list. the list consisted of a lot of words related to drug abuse like arrested. family. abusing drugs. drug rehab centre.

he chose qn2.. before he even started. he asked me for help. "can u explain the pictures to me?"
isnt tt stunning? if u dun understan the pictures which u were goin to write abt.. why choose tt qn?!

the first pic showed a boy w a box labelled w a skull n a crossed bones below it. then at the shoulder of the boy had a tiny drawing of a devil characterised by the horns n the fork. i asked him wat does the skull represents.. he said he duno.. XD.. tt was kinda frustrating, wasnt it?
den i asked him wats the thing at the boy's shoulder? he said, "nothing much". i was so gek!
i asked him if he knew abt the angel n devil appearing in cartoons when ppl make decision.. den he "OH YA! in tintin, the captain has the angel n devil thing!" wtf!? if u watched b4... u are expected to know!

nxt pic shows a boy w the mouth open in doped mode, lying on the ground.. w some pills in his hand. i asked him to describe the pic.. he said he duno. XD i asked him wat will happen if someone takes drugs. he said he duno. i asked him if he ever watched tv drama which had drugs appearing.. he said NO.. a firm NO.. i wanted to slap him. so much huan zhu ge ge.. and he dares to tell me NO.. i told him wtf did erkang eat in huan zhu 3.. "OH YA! but tt isnt poison." when the hell were we talkin abt poison.. i was talkin abt drugs all along.. sian diao! den he told me when u took drugs u feel high, light feathery.. OMG.. i seriously duno wat he learnt from all the drama he watched.

to think tt he showed me so much attitude after tt.. n watched huan zhu again on my tv.. laughin hysterically at certain scenes he watched over n over again.. n giving tt pitiful look n askin again n again to play the com.. he even sat on the chair infront of the com n refused to move away.. if he cant use, qk cant use too? wat kinda mentality is tt? tt's my laptop.. even my mom has to move away when i want to use it. it is MINE!

den suddenly.. i decided to lecture him.. i told him to stop the vcd he was watching n started shootin him like a machine gun. tellin him how many careless mistakes he made.. how he shud watch some useful stuff n not huan zhu.. even if he watched cartoons, he should watch better ones n not blue cat. wtf blue cat! the graphics sux n it is made in china.. nt tt i despise chinese cartoon production, their themes really cant match w the real world (chinese propaganda too).. jus look at blue cat.. XD

den as usual, qk's reprimanding was too OVER.. he cried.

sunday! he did a maths paper n english paper.. the english was horrible.. i dun wanna talk abt it.. COPY oso can copy wrongly.. he SPEAKED.. when the paper always wrote he SPOKE.. zai
maths was quite well done.. act the paper was too easy.. i told him he could only make max 2 careless mistakes.. den he really got 2 careless mistakes.. XD i shud haf said 0.

let him watched stephen CHOW's journey to the west.. 月光宝盒 2 cds.. he had a great laugh.. den i was too tired.. went to slp.. i duno wat he did after tt.. maplestory? i cant be bothered.. my aunt came over, had dinner took him home.. i din know anything.. slpin XD.. too tired..
i can vaguely rmb my aunt thanked me.. lol

i guess my nxt few wkends will be like this too.. unemployment.. sigh..
i am stilling eating oranges..
